MOROCCO TOUR

MOROCCAN MOSAIC – 18 DAYS
Departing Casablanca on 3 October 2023

Morocco has lured travellers for centuries. It’s a land of contrasts; Berber and Arab, African and European, ancient and modern. On this comprehensive Morocco tour you will travel from the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean to the fringes of the great Sahara.

Morocco is the oldest kingdom in the Moslem world. Successive dynasties have left behind a rich heritage, including historic towns, ancient cities and a rich supply of wondrous monuments. On our Byroads tour colourful souks and medinas offer great shopping opportunities whilst beautiful old riads and kasbahs provide amazing accommodation experiences.

We travel the length and breadth of the country from Tangiers in the north to the remote desert towns in the south. Along the way we visit the beautiful Rif Mountain village of Chefchaouen, wander the ancient medina of Fes and take a sunset camel ride in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. A particular focus of this tour is the kasbah-studded region in the Middle Atlas and the stunning Draa Valley. We specialise in this area and our clients love it!

Emerging from the High Atlas, we then head west for two nights of relaxation in the coastal town of Essaouira. Our journey comes to an end in fabled Marrakech, one of Morocco’s great imperial cities.
